Far away in the distant future, our beloved Collectors enhanced their Polymon with Exosuits, making them stronger and capable of gathering even more resources for their collectors. Through a series of terrifying events, a group of anti-technology purists, the Luddites, destroyed all of these enhanced but innocent Polymon, colloquially known as Exomon.
