The Citadel

The Citadel is a strategy game set in space and implemented on the Ethereum blockchain, created by a team of experienced artists, developers, and space fans. Like many of the games that have come before it, The Citadel uses NFTs to represent game items that interact to generate, claim, steal, burn, and exchange tokens. Unlike many of the games that have come before it, The Citadel expands on current state-of-the art P2E concepts to add staking pools with different risk/reward propositions, limited-resource staking pools, and distance relative to other players. The Citadel also takes inspiration from the decentralization that is commonplace in DeFi projects, adopting a community-first governance model, with a true on-chain DAO and reduced owner privileges.
