AcadArena, the Philippines' and Southeast Asia's leading organization for Campus Gaming and Esports Education, has announced a new merit-based scholarship for model student gamers. The "ASA for Gamers" or AcadArena Scholarships & Aid for Gamers scholarship seeks to reward gamers of all genres who can balance academic excellence with casual gaming.

The scholarship will be awarded in semester-long cycles, with two awardees receiving PHP 30,000 in tuition coverage per cycle. The first cycle's application period runs from February 21 to May 31, 2023, with awardees announced on June 30, 2023. Eligible applicants must be SHS (Grade 12) or Undergraduate College students studying in the Philippines.

ASA for Gamers welcomes applications from student gamers of all genres, including casual players. Applicants must submit a completed online application form to be considered for the scholarship. Interested students can access the application form by logging in with their AcadArena account.

This scholarship aims to dispel the myth that gaming is only for fun and does not contribute to academic success.
