On September 8, Canadian video game developer Enthusiast Gaming Holdings Inc. partnered with Coinbase to break into the web3 market. <a href="https://www.coinbase.com/exchange/">Coinbase</a> is a renowned web3 leader and one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges worldwide.

By partnering with Coinbase, Enthusiast Gaming can use its infrastructure for its web3-powered games. Coinbase will provide developers with the necessary tools, training materials, and community-building support. In particular, the <a href="https://www.coinbase.com/cloud/">Coinbase Cloud developer platform</a> has tools that both new and experienced developers need. These tools are crypto wallets, blockchain nodes, and fiat-to-crypto payment rails.

Enthusiast Gaming’s new web3 game, <a href="https://tingbits.com/game/evio/">EV.IO</a>, is at the heart of the collaboration. It’s a first-person shooter (FPS) game with a twist: players may earn crypto rewards for winning the game. The game’s original publisher, Addicting Games, was bought by Enthusiast Gaming on September 7 for $35 million. According to Gala Games' <a href="https://twitter.com/superiorthegame/status/1567656801646309376?s=46&t=MkSXOvmBmlHekt4UK3wVnA/">tweet</a>, anyone with a Gala account can now dive into the world of Superior for free with no NFTs required.

So far, the alpha playtest has received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with many gamers expressing excitement for the game's full release.

Superior is an exciting Web3 title that Gala Games recently added to its gaming platform. The third-person shooter game features hordes of superheroes who have become grotesque abominations. To save humanity, players must band together and eliminate these evil creatures, who were once referred to as "heroes." To defeat the superheroes, players must be superior as well.

Players can take on one of Superior's three main characters during the playtest: Ronin the Bruiser, Nomad the Sharpshooter, or Murmur the Trickster. Each of them will have unique traits and skills to help them progress.

Players must also collect "juice" to unlock a new superpower in the game. This special boost is a superhero's power source, which can be found, stolen, or harvested from dead supers.

Players will be given three power options to choose from before entering the battlefield. Most of them are Fire and Ice abilities that can help you improve your jump, melee, or dash. You must defeat more bosses to unlock more power sets.

<a href="https://superior.game/">Superior</a> will also include a variety of characters that players will be able to collect as NFTs. Each NFT character has unique gameplay bonuses and play-to-earn potential.

Superior Alpha Playtest Now Live on Gala Launcher

The new skill-based fight-to-earn blockchain game, <a href="https://tingbits.com/game/de-fighter/">De-Fighter</a>, has partnered with RadioShack. The 100-year-old electronics retail chain turned decentralized exchange (DEX) platform will launch $DFC. This news came via a <a href="https://twitter.com/DeFighterDFC/status/1567273590994903040?s=20&t=w468H9U9lxw6ruN9U49pFQ/">tweet</a> from the game's <a href="https://twitter.com/DeFighterDFC/">official Twitter</a> last September 7. 

De-Fighter's official token launch is slated for September 8 at 9 PM UTC on RadioShack's platform. <a href="https://docs.radioshack.org/radioshack-defi/competitive-edge/dex-1.0-and-rented-liquidity/">RadioShack</a> pivoted to the decentralized finance (DeFi) field in December 2021. The company stated its new mission on its <a href="https://www.facebook.com/RadioShack/">Facebook page</a> with over 2.6 million followers. The century-old electronics chain hopes to "bring cryptocurrency to the mainstream." They said they wanted to "be the first protocol to bridge the gap in mainstream usage of DeFi."

In a Twitter <a href="https://twitter.com/RadioShack/status/1540555631689715712?s=20&t=kTlmRL6s73JtDgcByFGhjw/">post</a> in June 2022, RadioShack invited blockchain firms to list their token on their platform. Along with this, the firm offered free promotion via its 200,000+ Twitter followers, 35,000+ Discord members, 50,000+ Instagram followers, 10,000+ Telegram subscribers, 80,000+ email subscribers, and 3,000+ SMS contacts. On top of that, they also offered funding for promising crypto projects.

Apart from the RadioShack listing announcement, De-Fighter also disclosed its plans to create custom NFT characters and reward pools for its other partners: Volt Inu ($VOLT), Dinger ($DINGER), Cult DAO ($CULT), and Elon Goat ($EGT).

$DFC is the main currency of the game's economy and is built on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The total supply of the token is 250 million. It's allocated to rewards (130 million); development (50 million); team (12,500,000); marketing (25 million); seed (2,500,000); private (2,500,000); liquidity (5 million); and burning (15 million).

The token launch is the third part of De-Fighter's phase one initiatives. In its roadmap, it has already completed its project inception and its website release. Upcoming milestones of its current phase involve:

Though players in this mode need to pay an entry fee, the game guarantees a large amount of $DFC and promotional prizes. Furthermore, free-play is the mode where players fight against an Artificial Intelligence (AI) with XP points as the reward. Lastly, the sponsorship mode allows players to use other players' NFT fighters for a special commission.

The announcement was made last Wednesday, September 7, on the <a href="https://twitter.com/TrialXtreme/status/1567498554289053696?s=20&t=SwXjbSuxnPxtS285y5aIvA/">official Twitter page</a> of their bike racing game, <a href="https://tingbits.com/game/trial-xtreme/">Trial Xtreme</a>. 

Trial Xtreme is a top-tier mobile game in the genre of motorcycle racing. According to Gameplay Galaxy’s <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/gameplay-galaxy/videos/">LinkedIn</a> profile, they are the original creators of Trial Xtreme. The game series was a massive success as a web2 game, with over 250,000,000 downloads. 

With the recently received funding, Gameplay Galaxy aims to build innovative Web3 games and create seamless experiences. They want to bring Web2 gamers into a unique Web3 gaming ecosystem, develop a wallet offering, and grow their development team.

Maya Gurevich, Gameplay Galaxy co-founder and COO, said in a <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/now/gameplay-galaxy-announces-completion-12-130000279.html">press release</a>:

Gameplay Galaxy Receives $12.8M Fund On Seed Round

The popular P2E blockchain game <a href="https://tingbits.com/game/axie-infinity/">Axie Infinity</a> is still selling tickets for the <a href="https://axiecon.axieinfinity.com/">Axie Infinity Convention</a> (AxieCon). The much-anticipated event will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from September 7 to September 10. AxieCon is Axie’s first event of its kind, with community members worldwide coming together to meet and greet.

AxieCon will kick off on September 7, from 12 PM to 6 PM, beginning with a registration party at the <a href="https://g.page/GOBeachClub?share/">Go Beach Club</a>. An engaging and informative session between attendees and <a href="https://www.skymavis.com/">Sky Mavis</a> officials is planned. The session’s themes will vary from Axie ecology to different aspects of Axie Infinity.

There is also some good news for those who cannot attend the event due to various circumstances. To ensure no one is left out, the event will be broadcast live on AxieCon’s MainStage via their Twitch channel.

Three different Axie tournaments will also be held during AxieCon, with over <a href="https://twitter.com/axieinfinity/status/1542860432096071681?s=21&t=l_T3INegArNbyXS5MTqvdA/">$1 million</a> in prizes up for grabs. Two of the three events will use Axie Infinity: Origin, while the World Championship will use their classic V2 game mode.

AxieCon also reveals a new marketplace <a href="https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1567095450909507584/">update</a>. This is the first step toward transforming the marketplace into a hub for the Axie community and its ecosystem.

Realms of Ethernity: Mint Update

The free-to-play (F2P) multiplayer battle royale game, <a href="https://tingbits.com/game/axes-metaverse/">Axes Metaverse</a>, was set forth to the public for an Open Beta test on September 3. On top of that, the team announced its first game mode, Axes: Battleground, via <a href="https://twitter.com/AxesMetaverse/status/1566045394794053633?s=20&t=gVUk3F8Ywn4B3seb9vaW7g/">Twitter</a>.

The Open Beta test began on September 5 and will end on September 30. The testing period is divided into two seasons, with a total prize pool of $10,000 worth of Binance stablecoin (BUSD). The prize pool will be divided in half as well. The first season will run from September 7 to September 21, and the second season from September 23 to September 30.

The reward allocation is the same for each season. The first, second, third, fourth, and fifth places will get 1,000 BUSD, 780 BUSD, 500 BUSD, 250 BUSD, and 100 BUSD, respectively. Players who rank from sixth to tenth place will get 50 BUSD each, whereas 11th to 100th placers will get 25 BUSD each.

The decentralized gaming community, <a href="https://yieldguild.games/">Yield Guild Games</a>, has acquired NFT assets in Limit Break's first NFT collection, DigiDaigaku. The selection introduces anime-style characters and a new "free-to-own" model to crypto gaming.
 
According to a <a href="https://medium.com/yield-guild-games/ygg-purchases-digidaigaku-nfts-in-limit-breaks-free-to-own-game-5cf159789ae6/">Medium post</a>, YGG purchased 22 DigiDaigaku NFTs worth $51,303 on the open market. With this, the guild will be able to produce more NFTs. Once it launches, it will allow the YGG community to take part in various game experiences in DigiDaigaku's ecosystem.
 
<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/gabbydizon/">Gabby Dizon</a>, the co-founder of YGG, had this to say about <a href="https://tingbits.com/post/gabe-leydon-blockchain/">Gabriel Leydon</a> and his company:

Gabriel and his team are confident that the F2O web3 gaming model will outperform current gaming models, like F2P and P2E.

YGG Acquires DigiDaigaku NFTs in Limit Break's "Free-to-Own" Game

The gaming community, multi-chain launchpad, and NFT platform, Liberty Gaming, announced its collaboration with the upcoming blockchain-based first-person shooter (FPS) role-playing game (RPG), <a href="https://tingbits.com/game/metastrike/">Metastrike</a>, on August 31 via <a href="https://twitter.com/LibertyGaming/status/1564717769400238080?s=20&t=7iY-BKHoPu3OIcSjUrZCwg/">Twitter</a>. Following the partnership announcement, Liberty Gaming and its community members now have access to Metastrike’s gameplay and earning features, including free-to-play (F2P), free-to-own (F2O), and build-to-earn.

Metastrike also offers its immersive VR technology in line with the gameplay aspect. This adds excitement to its modernized graphic design, which takes inspiration from the top-level FPS RPGs such as Call of Duty (CoD) and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO). 

The Liberty Gaming Guild and its scholars are also in for a treat just before summer ends. Its new partner organizes the biggest event of its Open Alpha series—the Metastrike <a href="https://twitter.com/MetastrikeHQ/status/1561669996157186050?s=20&t=8jstfUpwcdp1Odpor_fNeA/">Open Alpha Summer Tournament</a>. Liberty Gaming Grows Bigger with Metastrike Partnership

The blockchain-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), <a href="https://tingbits.com/game/legends-of-bezogia/">Legends of Bezogia</a>, announced the launch of its beta version via <a href="https://twitter.com/legendofbezogia">Twitter</a> on August 31.

The game’s developer, Zogi Labs Ltd., presents players with an open world packed with high-quality 3D graphics, wacky non-fungible token (NFT) characters and villains, and an exciting plot. All this while allowing the players to earn through rental and trading mechanics set on NFT characters and weapons.

“Gone are the days of crypto games looking like a Gameboy classic from the 1990s, <a href="https://bezogia.com/">The Legends of Bezogia</a> is a massive open world with a thrilling storyline, action-packed combat, and sophisticated game mechanics we’ve worked tirelessly to produce,” Zogi Labs Ltd. Zogi Labs Ltd. has also prepared its primary studio token, Bezoge Earth ($BEZOGE), and Legends of Bezogia’s native token, Magical Blocks ($MBLK), as attendance rewards for the first 1,000 approved Beta testers. These rewards can be earned and claimed exclusively and for one time only. Both tokens run on the Ethereum blockchain network and live up to the Ethereum Request for Comment 20 (ERC-20) standards.

This will help them with their current fixes and revamps until the launch of the game’s final version in the first quarter of 2023.
