Six weeks after it was launched, CryptoMines Reborn announced that it was ending its NFT project. The team cited market conditions and widespread FUD as the reasons for its rapid fall. The value of $CRUX, the native token of this game, has plummeted from $57.90 to $0.15 since it started trading in March 2022. This announcement came as a disappointment for many of its players who had high hopes for the game.
CryptoMines Reborn was an attempt to bring back the popular early version of CryptoMines, CryptoMines Legacy. The Legacy token, $ETERNAL, had a lot of potential and reached an all-time high value of $801.59 six months ago. But FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) caused the project to crash and be shut down last December 2021. CryptoMines Reborn was created to save the project and Legacy's displaced players. The team put a lot of effort into making this happen, but the game failed again.
The project developers see no clear strategy to help the token recover from its current state of uncertainty. This has made the token's value drop and it has not been able to recover.
“There is currently no viable strategy to allow the token to recover in this current market of so much uncertainty, together with the FUD and the problems dragged from Legacy, the token had a constant fall from which is was not able to recover, and therefore, players will be affected by this constant decline,” Cryptomines recently announced in their discord server.
Now that the project is dead, it is still unclear what will happen to the developers, holders, and investors.
