The game is set in the year 2800, in a dystopian future where the depletion of resources endangers human life. To address this issue, scientists have created a way to convert one's mind into digital code and upload it into energy bodies known as "The Fusionist."

Binance Labs has invested in Fusionist to support innovation and adoption in web3 gaming. Fusionist has a community of 810,000 members and plans to use the funding to accelerate game development, expand its Endurance Mainnet ecosystem, and increase user growth.

The team behind Fusionist has seasoned developers who previously worked for big names in the gaming industry, such as Tencent Games, Electronic Arts, and Moonton Games. They aim to establish a web3 gaming space that can grow organically by targeting specific player segments. Initially, the games will be launched on BNB Chain before expanding to other Layer-1 networks.
