The Sandbox, a decentralized virtual world, has announced a partnership with Ubisoft to bring Rabbids into its metaverse. This announcement follows a string of partnerships that includes Atari, Snoop Dogg, Warner Music Group, and Adidas.

We’re excited to bring the Rabbids to The Sandbox community and to empower players to create their own original experiences incorporating elements of our gaming IP. We can’t wait to see how they make the Rabbids’ world their own. Ubisoft will have its own estate, a piece of land in the metaverse, that will showcase various interactive experiences.

The Sandbox comes with free creation tools: VoxEdit for creating 3D assets, and Game Maker for building games inside the virtual world. These tools allow anyone to build, develop, and deploy on the Sandbox metaverse. Voxel versions of the Rabbids characters and items will be available for creators and players to play and build with.
