The free-to-play NFT game <a href="https://tingbits.com/game/xia-one/">Xia One</a> has joined forces with the NFT and gaming ecosystem Myria. This collaboration, which Myria announced on <a href="https://twitter.com/myria/status/1577585338230665216?s=46&t=WoSGsxdMBTjlgeeHz0rK5Q/">Twitter</a>, is a game-changer for both parties. Both Xia One and Myria will be able to reach a wider audience with the new partnership.

One of the first companies to enter the GameFi space, <a href="https://myria.com/">Myria</a> has been around for a while. It is a web3 gaming platform that uses the Ethereum L2 scaling solution. According to a <a href="https://medium.com/@myriagames/discover-why-xia-one-chose-to-build-on-myria-25e370d9bbbb/">blog post</a>, the creator of Xia One, Pharmakon, believes that Myria is best positioned to assist them in acquiring a large player base. Its rapidly growing gaming community can help promote the game to a much larger audience than Xia One can on its own. Also, the high level of interaction on Myria’s posts will greatly help Xia One’s marketing and publicity efforts.

Pharmakon said, “We’ve been looking for the right place to mint our NFT collection, and we feel that Myria is the ideal solution due to its ability to scale rapidly. We also like that we can mint quickly and with zero gas fees. Plus, Myria is successfully selling its nodes, so there will be an integrated system for all of the token holders.”

“We also feel that there will be a great synergy with Myria as we build out the Xia One project,” he says. “We were trying to search for a scaling platform to help us reach a wider player base. Because Xia One is a free-to-play (F2P) game, it requires a lot of people to play. Then we hope that a proportion of those people will invest in NFTs to obtain high-tier characters that carry a lot of perks,” he added.

The role-playing game Xia One is about exploration, Karma, and closed combat. The game is set in feudal China during a time of great hardship and features Manga-style graphics. The world must be saved by vigilantes known as Xias. The goal is to liberate society from rebellious clans and barbarians and release the world from the endless time loop of reincarnation until the Grand Mission is completed and Nirvana is within reach. Players must navigate an intricate reincarnation process, collecting <a href="https://ohdat.gitbook.io/xia-one-whitepaper/tokenomics/token-distribution/">$KARMA</a> along the way and using it to level up and defeat the boss.

The game will include a variety of game modes such as Legendary Mode, solo, co-op, PvP, and battle royale. Karma is the only in-game currency that players can earn, spend, and mint into ERC-20 token $KARMA to convert to other cryptocurrencies. Karma can be obtained in all game modes.

Only NFT holders, however, can farm $KARMA to monetize the game. Non-holders can profit from the game by obtaining weapons, items, and talents that can be minted into NFTs and traded on the official marketplace. Non-holders may also rent NFTs from holders to withdraw the Karma earned during the rental period.

The alpha version will be available before the end of this year, with the full game will be released in Q1 2023, according to the <a href="https://twitter.com/xiaone_official/status/1559856628069191680?s=46&t=BI9FmXUdzGKa08vqi_XgSA/">roadmap</a>.
